Stewardship Campaign and Pledge Cards
To fellow members of FPC-C:
I would like to update you on the status of our current Stewardship Campaign for the budget for 2021. As of 11/10/20, we have received 70 pledges for a total amount of $410,190 or an average of $5,860 per pledge. This puts us about 65% of the way to our goal pledge income for next year. While this is a good start, there are still 61 pledging units (~$221,960 in potential revenue) who made a commitment for the 2020 budget but have not, as of today, responded to the 2021 budget campaign. I would encourage those who have not responded to prayerfully consider continuing your financial support of the church. If you intend to pledge, please submit your pledge card in the next couple of weeks so that we may finalize our 2021 Budget prior to year-end. I continue to pray (and hope that you do also) for the welfare and programs of our church.
- Fred Kate; Stewardship/Finance Coordinator
REMINDER! For those of you who are considering making a donation of stock to the church, or making a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to the church for the calendar year 2020, this memo is to remind you that the transaction must be completed by 12/31/2020 if you want the contribution to be a tax deduction for 2020. However, please try to complete transactions before the last week in December to avoid a last minute “glitch” that may keep you from being eligible for a 2020 tax deduction. The Church Administrator, Sharon VanSchuyver, has paperwork in the church office that greatly facilitates the stock donation process, so please feel to contact Sharon if you wish to donate stock.
Also, for those who intend to pre-pay their pledge for 2021 in the calendar year 2020, please note that this should be completed before the last week in December as mentioned above.
