Youth Retreats!
Both the Junior High and the Senior High Youth Groups will go on at least one overnight retreat or lock-in during the fall and Spring. In the Fall, we often go to Wimberley, TX to stay at a member's home on the Blanco River. Or we might go camping at a local state park, depending on what the youth want to do. In the spring, we attend, Conclaves, a Presbyterian youth retreat at Camp Cho-Yeh in Livingston, TX. This retreat is planned by other youth in the presbytery and is centered around a theme. Other camping trips, beach trips, and lock-ins may be planned, if the groups decide they want to go on more trips. Each summer we go to the big Splashtown Christian Lock-in. We also participate in Disciple Now, a weekend of growing in faith with hundreds of other youth in the Conroe area in January. Join us!

Summer Mission Trips
Each summer the youth serve on mission trips for Jr. High and Sr. High. We've worked in Dallas, TX, Reynosa, Mexico, Kingsville, TX, Denver, CO, and Chattanooga, TN. These trips become a great bonding experience for the youth and they get to participate in God's work.
Other Mission Activities
One Sunday a month, five youth and one adult serve lunch at the Salvation Army Soup kitchen. This gives the youth a chance to act out their faith by giving their time to serve the less fortunate in the Conroe community.
Our Youth Groups also work in various other mission opportunities in our community. We have put together homeless care packages, played bingo in nursing homes, and cleaned up stretches of highway and Habitat for Humanity lots, to name a few.
