God wants to use you!
At First Presbyterian Church of Conroe we believe that ministry, our giving to God of our time and talents, begins as soon as we become followers of Christ. So no matter what you're good at, God wants to use you to bless people in need, inside and outside of our church! Give us a call at the church office or stop in some time and we'd be glad to talk with you about where God might be calling you to serve. God bless you as you listen to God's call!

Help Wanted!
Greeter Coordinator
The Inviting Ministry is looking for someone to coordinate our Greeter Program. This volunteer would be responsible for contacting potential greeters and making sure that each service has greeters. Any interested person can contact Yvette Smith at 936-520-6953 for more information.
Mentors for At-risk Students
There has been a significant increase in at-risk students at Conroe High School, so many more mentors are needed for this successful program. Information packets are available today at the Welcome Center. Call the church office for more information at (936) 756-8884.
Kid's Sunday School Teachers
Are you a teacher at heart or just feel that God is calling you to help kids and students better their relationship with Jesus? If you said yes, then we want to talk to you. Please contact Rev. Scott Cummings (ssc70@firstpresconroe.org) if you want to teach this next school year or just want to know more.
Habitat for Humanity Project
The Missions Ministry is sponsoring a new construction project for Habitat for Humanity. We are partnering with the Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church and Strawbridge United Methodist Church of Kingwood to build a 3 bedroom home for a single mother with 2 children. The house will be located in Conroe behind Runyan Elementary School near the intersection of 7th St. and Foster Dr. The typical construction schedule calls for work crews every other Saturday. Volunteer work will consist of framing, roofing, insulation, siding, drywall, trim, painting, etc. There will be ample opportunities for people of all skill levels to participate. If you can't swing a hammer or a paintbrush, you can work on the Hospitality team which takes care of sign-in, morning and afternoon snacks, lunch, and providing water all day long. Details will become available as we get closer to the actual start date. We would love to have you participate. A sign-up sheet is available in the Welcome Center, if you are interested in working on this project.

Random Act of Kindness Cards!
Don’t forget to grab some cards and share the love of Christ in small ways! These cards with a message and information about our church are available at the Welcome Center desk. Just pick up a few and then do something nice for neighbor, friend, or a random stranger and give them a card. You could pump someone’s gas, or rake a lawn, or give a server at a restaurant a big tip, pay for someone’s coffee in line at a coffee shop, volunteer to take a neighbor’s child to school for a week, etc. Be creative and share Christ in a small but special way!
